Yes, simply get a V778 Retention Document from the post office. Once it is on retention, only then contact us to collect.
This is not a problem as we are able to scrap your vehicle without a logbook. We will need to see some evidence that you own the vehicle.
Not having the key is not essential, but you will need to provide us evidence that you are the owner of the vehicle.
