Clean air zones near Lichfield

Lichfield has no clean air zone of its own, but Birmingham’s zone, inside the A4540 Middleway ring road, charges non-compliant vans £8 a day. If your van regularly heads into Birmingham, that charge soon adds up.

What happens next

Your van goes to a licensed Authorised Treatment Facility. You’ll receive a Certificate of Destruction and the DVLA is notified, so you’re no longer responsible for the vehicle. Any unused road tax is refunded automatically.
