- Cat A and Cat B – these must be crushed or broken for parts, and are normally dealt with by the insurer.
Sell my written-off van FAQs
How will I be paid?
By bank transfer when we collect. We don’t pay in cash.
Do you collect from anywhere?
We collect across England and Wales – see the areas we cover – and from elsewhere in the UK if the van is right.
Should I buy my van back from the insurer?
Get a quote from us first. Comparing our price with the buy-back figure makes it easier to decide.
What happens next
Your van goes to a licensed Authorised Treatment Facility. You’ll receive a Certificate of Destruction and the DVLA is notified, so you’re no longer responsible for the van. Any unused road tax is refunded automatically.
We also scrap: Damaged vans · No MOT vans · Non-running vans · No logbook · Ford Transit · Mercedes Sprinter · VW Transporter · Campervans · Motorhomes
